The welfare & security of Africa has always been an innate passion within me.It is a fervent allegiance that simmers at any slight provocation or injustice and yet glows with admiration and respect at the strength & humbleness of our people.
I’m an aspiring social entrepreneur with a pro- Africa agenda at heart! It is my multicultural background that makes me who I am today and furthermore what drives me to start making a difference in our Motherland. Being born into a South African - Malawian family and having been schooled in Zimbabwe has instilled in me with a sense of African unity and equipped me with necessary skills to effect tolerance and cooperation amongst our people. I moved to South Africa in 1998 and started my tertiary education at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and have been living in Cape Town since. I completed my BA in 2000 and majored in Environmental Science and Psychology. This year I enrolled at Stellenbosch University and I am studying an MPhil in Sustainable Development Planning and Management. I am enjoying this course and I love the fact it is challenging me to critically analyse my thoughts,actions and even motives!
….So what moves me?
Africa and it’s positive people, excuse me for sounding a little naïve but really our people have got to be the most upbeat and optimistic lot in the world. Considering what we have been through and continue to experience, the African spirit can never be extinguished come what may and the time has come for us to harness this passion with technology and skills and come up with our very own innovative solutions to the developmental challenges that we face.
So what Do I Propose?

Update - next week I receive the much awaited report on a feasibility study for one of my social enterprise ideas!!!
