 About Me |
I studied American Government and Public Policy in college, and was very involved in fair trade and labor organizing on campus. Since graduating in 2002, I have run a hip-hop youth center in Rhode Island, written grants for a homeless services non-profit in New York, and most recently organized the NYC grassroots campaign against JP Morgan Chase. I currently work for the Global Sisters program at NetAid, honing the advocacy campaign, drafting the Action Kit and keeping in touch with all of the sisters.
In my free time, I like working on my moped (which is forever breaking down) and riding my bike. I also really enjoy making stuff that I need, like lamps, wallets, board games, what have you. I'd really like to learn how to make furniture, but can't seem to find an affordable woodworking class in New York.
