About Me

I am a 31 year-old Nigerian University graduate. I am a young man, single, ambitious, adventurous, bold, blunt and honest. Apart from a degree in Political Science, I also have a special flair for journalism. I am currently the Senior Editor of the colourful Nigerian Magazine - The View. I am a human rights activist and a leading member of Amnesty International Nigerian Section. I love reaching out to people across the continents in order to share ideas and experiences.
At different fora across Africa, I have delivered papers or spoken extensively on topical, and sometimes contentious, issues such as political stability and democratic governance, human rights and fundamental freedom, corruption, the ethnic nationality question, press freedom, youth empowerment, etc.
I have a pathological hatred for injustice, arbitrariness, corruption and senseless accumulation by people in position of authority at the expence of the masses and the down trodden.
My uncompromising campaign against military dictatorship in the 90s led to my frequent arrests and detention in police stations, state security service detention facilities and prisons. During this period, the international community, civil society organisations and individual activists publicly called for my release.
It is absolutely difficult for me to pretend not see injustice where one is being perpetrated against the weak, the voiceless even at great risk to my life and freedom. Nothing more gives me joy and fulfilment than confronting my oppressors; and I do that without resorting to violence.
I will partner with any organisation across the world that finds me suitable for its programmes and activities. I am all yours.
