About Me |
I'm a Kiwi girl now based in London. Moved here to do a Masters in Development Management at the London School of Economics (finished in 2007) and I'm now working for the Church Commissioners for England as a policy assistant in the department that deals with governance and property. It's not my ideal job but it pays the bills while I find something better.
I spent a fair amount of time working in youth development and youth politics in New Zealand at a regional, national and international level. I stood for Parliament in the 2005 New Zealand General Election as one of the youngest electorate and party list candidates.
I hope to pursue a career in development working for an official aid agency on governmental development policy. I want to see absolute poverty made history in my lifetime and TIG is an awesome way of meeting with people who have the same dreams. Through TIG we can come up with practical ways to see these dreams made reality.
I love talking to people from all over the world and learning about different cultures.
