About Me

As a Haudenosaunee of Six Nations, I am an advocate for Aboriginal rights. I have been part of many groups which promote this such as Spirit of the Youth Working Group and Native Youth For Life. I have also been to numerous conferences, on talk shows, and attended events to combat the abstraction of aboriginal rights, especially here, in Canada. I am currently the youth delegate for negotiation between Six Nations and the Canada over the reclamation site previously known as Douglas Creek Estates. This is the longest running occupation in aboriginal history, as well, it is the first time Canada is sitting down and actually negotiating with Haudenosaunee people. It's a big task to take on, but as aboriginal people, we have rights just like everyone else, rights that need to be recognized.
