About Me

A dreamer, builder and mobilizer I spend most of my work and personal life engaging youth on climate change. I'm passionate about most things in this world and could easily spend many lifetimes tackling just about any of the problems facing our collective future.

I currently work as a consultant, focused mostly on climate change. I have a background in Geology and International Development which I suppose has prepared me for much of my work. My first love though was not the environment but was in fact local community development. In particular I spent many years mobilizing on local-level issues of social justice and accessibility (education, food, positive role models, etc).

Recent involvements have included coordinating the Canadian Youth Delegation to the climate change negotations in Bali, Indonesia where 35 Canadians pressed the Canadian government, made waves in the media and collaborated with 200 youth from around the world. This has led into my involvement in building a global youth network on climate change - mobilizing for climate change negotations...but much more! Sharing resources, connecting organizations and people and organizing global campaigns on what many see as the issue that will define our generation and perhaps our species.
