About Me

Soy un joven psicólogo social, con maestría en Estudios Políticos por la Universidad Mayor de San Marcos de Lima siendo becario de la JP Morgan Chase Foundation.

Consultor en temas de promoción de la salud y desarrollo social para diversas instituciones públicas (como Ministerio de Salud, Programa de Lucha contra la Pobreza en Lima PROPOLI, Defensoría del Pueblo, CONAJU) y organizaciones no gubernamentales nacionales (CEDRO, CESIP, APRODEH, IPSIDE) e internacionales (Iniciativa en Políticas de Salud HPI/USAID, IBIS, World Vision, ASPEm).

He trabajado en proyectos de promoción de la salud y prevención de la violencia y otras conductas de riesgo en temas como la sexualidad y adicciones dentro de instituciones del estado y organizaciones de la sociedad civil.

He participado como ponente en eventos nacionales e internacionales y he publicado diversos artículos sobre democracia, cultura y derechos humanos. Ultimamente, he realizado investigaciones como Vulnerabilidad frente a las ITS y VIH/SIDA en pueblos indígenas, Calidad de atención en los hospitales de Lima, Representaciones sociales del suicidio y Percepciones sobre el problema de las drogas en el Perú, entre otras.

Soy miembro del Comité Editorial de la Revista Electrónica Dispersión, socio fundador del Instituto Psicología y Desarrollo - IPSIDE e integrante del Taller Interdisciplinario de Ciencias Sociales. Actualmente, sostengo el Punto Focal Nacional de GYCA para el Perú.

I'm a young psychologist, with a master in Political Studies by San Marcos University at Lima, being a fellow of the JP Morgan Chase Foundation.

Consultant on health promotion y social development for governmental institutions (Ministry of Health of Peru, Program Aganist the Poverty in Lima PROPOLI, Ombudsman, National Youth Council), and peruvian (CEDRO, CESIP, APRODEH, IPSIDE) and foreign (Health Policies Initiative HPI/USAID, IBIS, World Vision, ASPEm) non-govermenmental organisations.

I've worked, trough public institutions and non-governmental organizations, in a lot of projects on Health Promotion and prevention of violence and others risk behaviors on sexuality and drugs.

I've participated in several academic events and I've written articles about democracy, culture and human rights. Lately, I've done researches on "HIV/AIDS in indigenous people", "Quality of atention in hospitals in Lima", "Social representations about suicide" , "Perceptions about drugs in Peru", etc.

I'm a member of Edition Comitee of the virtual review "Dispersion", founder associated of Psichology and Development Institute (Instituto Psicología y Desarrollo, IPSIDE) and partner of the Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Workshop (Taller Interdisciplinario de Ciencias Sociales, TICS). Currently I hold the GYCA National Focal Point for Peru.
