JEON, HyunJin is a programme coordinator for UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) National Committee for the Repulbic of Korea. As she is in charge of team of youth and children, she provides diverse environmental education programmes to youth and children to promote environmental awareness on the base of international enviornment issuses in Asia and the Pacific including the Republic of Korea.
Also, under the UNEP's long term youth strategy 'TUNZA', she is organizing youth enviornmental networks in Asia and the Pacific such as TUNZA NEAYEN (North East Asia Youth Environment Network for China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia) to be involved youth voice in the policy-making level. (www.neayen.org) Now, she is preparing 4th TUNZA NEAYEN Conference in Mongolia in upcoming September on Climage Change issues and Publication; Ststus of Enviornment in North East Asia.
She is also working as national focal point for GYCA (Global Youth Coaliation on AIDS).
She truely believes that youth can make a big different for a better world and try to make a chance for the other youth in this region!!
