François Laureys (1960) is currently Country Programme Manager for IICD (International Institute for Communications and Development) in Mali and Burkina Faso. He has been working at IICD since 2001, resp. as a Capacity Development Officer and an Information Networking Officer, before becoming CPM in 2005. Between 1990 et 2001 he worked as a radio journalist and web editor for local, regional, national and international radio stations. He obtained his MoA Communication Sciences at the University of Amsterdam in 1988.
