 About Me |
I am Luiza, from Armenia. I am 20 and I am a third year medical student. Being a medical student I am involved in the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations as a National Officer on Reproductive Health and AIDS. Besides, starting from 2000 I am an active member of the Pan-Armenian "For Family and Health" Association (PAFHA). From 2004-2005 I worked as a coordinator of the Y-Peer Network Armenia & Web Page and from 2004 - up to now I am working a senior peer educator (trainer) also I am the member of the organization's Youth Committee, which members are actively involved in the desicion making process of the assocition.
In our NGO I am conducting informational seminars for young people on different topics of Sexual and Reproductive health, such as HIV/AIDS prevention, STIs, pregnancy, abortion, alcohol and drug abuse, smoking, behaviour skills, human rights, as well as peer education in order to provide a more efficient and effective means of disseminating information on adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
Being a peer educator I 've participated in many national and international seminars, trainings, workshops and meetings.
I speak Armenian (native), English, Russian, and have a general comprehension of French and German. But now I am improving my German and learning Czech at the same.
In my spare time I like to read, to spend time with my friends, also I adore travelling.
