About Me |
I became involved in the IPY Youth Steering Committee in 2005, excited about the opportunity to form a network with other young polar researchers internationally and to share our enthusiasm for this field with other young people. I am currently co-chairing the YSC (with Amber Church) and represent New Zealand on the committee. I am a PhD student in the Zoology Dept. at the University of Otago, New Zealand. My research focuses on adaptations that enable Antarctic nematodes to survive intracellular freezing.
