 About Me |
Hi,
I'm the founder of PlanetYou an educational new media company based in Toronto. We develop interactive educational projects for youth and help other youth-focused organizations with digital projects (websites, video, cds, etc.) Most recently, we launched the MindSync Learning Network -- a youth-focused digital learning community. Much like the good folks at TIG, we really want to empower youth and help them to connect to new ideas, people and places.
More specifically, I grew up in Toronto; attended Stanford University in California; worked as a researcher in pediatric infectious diseases and then in biotechnology policy; started a medical information systems company; then joined a company in Toronto called the NRG Group (oh yeah, fell in love with my future wife along the way) before starting PlanetYou. I dig house music, jazz, poetry and used to compete at the international level in track and field. I'm hoping the best is yet to come. ;)
