About Me

With the experiences of living and traveling in many countries, I find myself very fortunate to grow up in an environment with all the privileges that not every one of my age are able to enjoy. My dad was one of the few that worked hard, made it out of his impoverished neighborhood to allow me to be where I am at today. I feel that with hope, opportunity and will, I can make small leaps that can aid the underprivilidged people of today to break the bondage with their seeminingly unimprovable conditions. I am involved actively in many volunteer acitivites. I organized “Education without Border”, a volunteering team that helps teach children in Asia who cannot receive normal education due to financial difficulties. In the summer of 2004, I took the team to China and taught an English program to the students of a special school for the unprivileged in the suburbs of Shanghai. Having traveled to many places, I am invovled in activities that promote appreciation of culture between people of different backgrounds. I beleive that the youth of today can reach new heights through will, knowledge and motivation.
