 About Me |
I am a Bachelor of Pharmacy student, also running a youth-oriented non-profit NGOin Multan to help our marginalised and depressed communities to get on track to development and live a dignified life. Also co-president of our local youth group affiliated with the International Dominican Youth Group. My passion is to empower women by giving them awareness on their rights and helping them to find a direction in their life. Women in our community are usually illetrate and are not allowed o get education due to social and financial barriers. I think women, if well aware of their rights, can play a vital role in the alleviation of poverty that has chained them and be a positive impact of the economical betterment of their families and the community.
My latest ventures have been Involvement of Youth in Decision Making where we are trying to hold consultations with the College and University youth about the youth policy of Pakistan.
I am also part of The Internet Governance Capacity Building Program 2007 (IGCBP-Asia Group.)
