 About Me |
Fosia Abdullahi Eidle, Women’s Right and HIV Program Officer, at ActionAid International Somaliland (AAI). I spent a fair amount of time working in youth empowerment and development, through initiatives of Local ABC4ALL; I raised free education for 25 young men and women, who couldn’t afford formal education. I worked as OD consultant where I raised the profile of over ten local NGO’s in Somaliland.
The main concept of my work is to generate space for Somaliland women to work, to gain knowledge and skills and thus enable them to participate in all fields of decision making process in the social and cultural life in the community and national levels.
I want to see absolute poverty made history in my lifetime and AAI is an awesome in the strategy to ending poverty, it globally united people who have the same dreams. With AAI we are practically working to see these dreams made reality.
