Immediately after graduation, Tad was hired by the #1 office of Anthony Robbins & Associates in North America, where he became the Head of Youth Training for Alberta. When he was 18 he founded The School Revolution a project dedicated to providing students (grades 8-12) with powerful resources to transform their schools and communities. The SR! has run over 75 day long youth events, retreats, and team building sessions for over 150 schools across Alberta. Since 1996, the SR! has organized and led over 70 day-long, city-wide youth leadership events for hundreds of youth. Simultaneously, since 1997, he has worked as the Executive Director of the Canadian branch of Youth for Environmental Sanity (YES!) a world renowned youth organization. With YES!, Tad has organized and facilitated 37 week-long, summer YES! Action Camps! across North America for youth from over 40 countries representing every inhabited continent. An active participant in the theatre and entertainment community, Tad has been a founding member of 3 comedy troupes, and recently completed his eleventh season with Edmonton’s Rapid Fire Theatre as a senior member where he performs weekly at Theatresports and Chimprov. In the summer of 1998 in Sweden, Tad was selected to be one of 8 speakers, to address young leaders from over 85 countries, on the Anniversary Day of the 50th International Congress of AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization. In 1999, Tad toured with the Whole Life Expo (the largest New Age Consumer Expo in the country) giving day long workshops for young people from around the country as a part of their Youth Challenge Program. The State of the World Forum chose Tad to be the facilitator of their prestigious Emerging Leaders Program in October of 1999. He has also consulted with Free The Children, L.E.A.D., Pioneers of Change, Global Youth Action Network, and the Fund Raising Super Training for Global Youth Leaders. He is a member of the Social Venture Network and the National Network of Grantmakers. In 1997, Tad also founded of YES!’s Facilitation Trainings for young leaders. In 1999, Tad founded Youth Jams: transformative community building events for leading young changemakers (www.youthjams.org) . These week-long events connect and support some of the leading young change makers in the world. Youth Jams have held 7 events. By the end of 2004 there will be an annual jam on each continent. Most recently he started a consulting practice called The Leverage Crew that offers helps social entrepreneurs, locally owned and small business to attract avalanches of perfect customers with the same or – often – much less effort. Tad has appeared in numerous publications from the Edmonton Journal, The Edmonton Sun, The Globe and Mail, Alberta Report, IONS Review, Ed Magazine, React magazine and nationally on CBC Radio. He was recently featured in the book Global Uprising and was chosen as one the thirty leading young visionaries in North America by Utne Reader magazine in their September, 2002 edition. Tad continues to live in Edmonton, Alberta, where he was born. An accomplished improv comedian, story teller, sleight of hand magician and musician he is a very warm, entertaining and outrageous facilitator and speaker. Tad is also a funny guy. Really.
