About Me

I am Liberian; male; 27 years old and a holder of a BSc. Economics from the University of Liberia. Presently, I am a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Economics, University of Liberia.

I have been involved in youth-led activities since 1998 and served as a Liberian Delegate to the West African Yoth Summit, held in Monrovia, Liberia in November, 2001.Also, I have worked with several community-based and national youth organizations and occupying several key positions. I served as Assistant Secretary-General of Global Youth Connections, Inc. a national youth-led not-profit organization based in Liberia.

My advocacy for societal had led me to many fora speaking on issues of national and international concern during my days at the University of Liberia. Also, I served as Chairman, Intellectual Discourse Committe, Economics Students Association of the University of Liberia.

Presently, I am the Program Manager, Community
Development Outreach, Inc. (CDO)- a youth-led not-for-profit organization based in one of the underpriviledged communities in Monrovia.

The Mission statement of CDO: "Helping communities enchance their well-being. And Vision Statement:"Seeking to contribute to national development through community partnering intiatives.

CDO core focus on capacity building and empowerment through 1) Leadership Development 2) Educational Institutions Outreach 3) Sporting Institutions Outreach 4)Neighborhood activities Outreach and 5) Build & Maintain Community Resource Centers in impoverished communities.

For work experience, I am presently the Special Assistant in the Office of the Representative, Electoral District #12, Montserrado County. Also, Education Officer, Liberians Organized for Change (LIBOCH).

Moreover, based on my committed to community-based works I was recently selected to served as Co-Chairman of the Federation of Borough of Kru Town Youth Associations- a conglomeration of twenty-five community-based youth associations from twenty communities in the Borough of Kru Town. Also, member of the Federation of Young Africans Greens (FYAG), and organizing Chairman FYAG-Liberia Chapter.
