About Me

Born and bred in Sierra Leone, I have lived in the United States since June 9, 1991. It has been quite a learning experience for me and it continues being one.

In 1992, I envisioned the Twenty-First Century African Youth Movement (AYM) to bring people and resources together to reverse the social and economic marginalization of Africa. In so doing, unleash a program of action, manned by volunteerism and fuelled by social and economic consciousness. AYM was born out of the desire to contribute positively to a better Africa for a better world. It is a task that will outlive me, leaving for generations yet unborn, the opportunity to build on a platform started with a passion to make a difference. I am very optimistic about this. Therefore, my singular mission in life is to set the podium on which to unleash a new program of action for the social and economic renaissance of Africa in particular and less fortunate humanity in general.
