 About Me |
Alberto Nardelli is the Social Network Manager at UnLtd – the foundation for social entrepreneurs, where he works as the chief strategist for UnLtdWorld.com, and develops and manages the organisation’s social networking strategy. This has included conceptualizing and leading the strategic development of UnLtdWorld (www.unltdworld.com) an online platform for social entrepreneurs.
Previously based in Toronto, Alberto acted as Special Projects Coordinator at TakingITGlobal, managing partnerships and collaborative initiatives, and leading creative expression programmes, including the Global Gallery and TIG Magazine.
He also facilitated communications for the Youth Caucus of the UN World Summit on the Information Society.
In the past he worked at The Digital Youth Consortium - The City of Rome, The Glocal Forum and was Chief Editor of the Italian edition of cafebabel.com.
Alberto has advised the strategies of numerous companies, start-ups and organisations. He has spoken at a dozen international conferences about social networking and ICT for Development, including at the World Urban Forum, the Asian Regional Conference on the Information Society, the World Summit on the Digital Divide, the UNESCO Youth Forum and the International Chamber of Congress (ICC) World Congress.
Alberto holds an MA in Media and Communication Studies and a BA in Political Science.
Alberto speaks Italian, English, and French. His main interests are new media, technology, social enterprise, film, writing, music and contemporary art.
