About Me

Ben Wikler is a campaign director for Avaaz.org, the world's largest global online civic advocacy orgaqnization, where oversees efforts on climate change, global health, and other issues. Previously, he worked as press secretary for Congressman Sherrod Brown's U.S. Senate campaign in Ohio, and was was a founding producer of The Al Franken Show on Air America Radio. Ben worked closely with Al Franken on his bestselling books Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right and The Truth (with jokes). While in college, he co-founded the Student Global AIDS Campaign and the Harvard AIDS Coalition, worked for economist Jeffrey Sachs, and contributed headlines and occasional articles to The Onion. He grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and currently lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
