I am a 24 yr old mother of two girls who are 8 and 5.
It's been a very long road considering that I became a single mom at 15. Luckily, I've had enormous support from my family........and so I am here today.
I haven't been on TIG in over a year!
I am glad to be back. I got so many messages over that time and I really thank everyone for being "inspired" by my life- it is not easy. Thank you guys for the encouragement. I hate to sound like some celebrity but believe me - every pat on the back helps me take another step further because very often do I feel like giving up.
I have been working in Accounting for about a year and a half. I kinda lucked out and got a great position and I am taking it from there.
I have been attending a local community college for way too long. But I am finally moving on to a university this September. I plan to finish my accounting degree and continue on to become a CPA (Ceritifed Public Accountant).
Though I have been in college for about 4 years already, I just figured out last summer what it is I am meant to do - at least in school. I have always had dreams of being a photographer but honestly, I am too chicken to believe in myself enough to start my own thing. I have so much going on that right now, I just like to do a lot of my own. Whenever I see something that needs to be captured, I snap....that's about as far as it goes for now.
Sorry this is a long bio....but this is ME!
