About Me

Hi, Dear Special people, I am a state team member of TakingITGlobal. Co-founder and Project Co-ordinator New Breed Volunteers (NBV), an orgainisation that deals on Environmental sustainability, we are working towards achieving the MDG’s Goals 7 and other MDG’s that support Goal 7 and MDG’s that Goal 7 support. I am a Trained Development Knowledge Facilitator (DKF) for MDG’s, a programme carried out by MDG’s office (Presidency), sponsored by the World Bank, British Council and NYSC. I have graduated and completed my higher education as a Mechanical Engineer. I am excited to get myself involves in youths empowerment, community development activities during my compulsory one year National Services, and since after my Training as DKF, I have always been interested in traveling with purpose and I was lucky enough to study outside my state. During the movement I have amazing experiences of my life about youths and community development matters. And right now, I was able to form chains of friendship with people in different part of the world. My experience traveling definitely helped me realize how important cultural understanding is and learning experience traveling with purpose (studying, internships and volunteering) etc can offer. My study about myself, others and the world around you.
During my NYSC (National Youth service Corp Member), I volunteer myself for some community/youth development activities and volunteering to International Center for Treatment and care of Aids programme(ICAP) in Cross River State, Nigeria. I was acting as the Public Relation Officer of MDG’s in Northern Cross River State, a job I passionately loved doing because I got to talk about MDG’s activities and it’s benefit all weeks and HIV/AIDS, it’s demerit to the society and our environment. I also used the opportunity to promote a programme that teaches cultural important and understanding. It helps people realize how interconnected we all are and how we can help each other, irrespective of our location and culture. It is the experiences that lead me to co-found (NBV) and equally brought me to TakingITGlobal. I do believe that we the youths need to exercise an active role to protect our environment and the world around us.
In the future I would like to stay with international NGO’s whose focus and idea are on sustainability facilitating academic exchanges, conflict resolution, cultural understanding, HIV/AIDS, Environmental protect (Climatic change, global warming, pollution) etc, humanitarian service and efforts, child Abuse and youth and community development because I like inspiring youths and equally keep them sustain.
