Gulalai Ismail 18, Student of Bio-Technology University of Peshawar, Chairperson of Aware Girls, an organization of young girls working for organizing girls’ group in the Schools, Colleges, and Universities and at Community level and focusing on achieving 50/50 participation of young girls in decision making and access to social services. Attended the child Rights Advocates program organized by NGO’s Coalition on Child Rights in Collaboration with UNICEF- Peshawar (12-13 August 2001), Participated in the Training organized by Human Resource Management and Development Center (HRMDC) for children and adolescents about the problems and role of adolescents in the fields of education, health and environment (6th September 2001), Represented the adolescents of North West Frontier Province in the Mid Term Review(11th September 2001)of UNICEF Programs in NWFP, Comparing in the working children’s convention organized by Human resource Management and Development Center (9th January 2003), Participated in Essay competition on “World T.B Day Y2K” organized by Pakistan Chest Society North West Frontier Province (NWFP)and won 1st prize, tabulated the data of the community based researches such that “Runaway children” – conducted by UNICEF/NGOs Coalition on Child Rights, “Failures, Success and Future Initiatives of Local Government System” – conducted by CAPS and Actionaid Peshawar,, “Facts findings on Education Monitoring Committees in District Nowshera” by URDO/ESRA. Attended International Training on Millennium Development Goals and Young People reproductive Rights in Buenos Aires (Argentina) organized by Youth coalition (May 16-22 May 2005).
