I speak English, Mohawk (my Indigenous Language) , French and a bit of Italian though its been a while. Im always ready to learn more so feel more than welcome to IM me in any of these languages (and dont laugh at my feeble attempts lol, im TRYING!).

Im a third year Indigenous Studies and Environmental Studies Student at Trent University, Canada. I would like to do my Masters in Indigenous Environmental Knowledge, studying Indigenous Planting Techniques with the Effects of Global Warming. I want my People ( the Haudenosaunee) to be able to feed themselves. Sovereignty to me is in your garden, that day is going to come when the West isnt going to be able to carry on the unwholesome way of life we are leading. My life's purpose is to prepare our People for that time.

I am also a constant learner of our Inherent and Historical Rights as Indigenous Peoples. With the help of the Indian Defense League of America, I am constantly learning what Rights my ancestors guaranteed for me. The most important thing we can do as an organized People is learn to understand and apply our inherent Rights, as well as the Treaties (Jay Treaty 1794, Treaty of Ghent, Canandaigua, etc.). The struggle for our inherent freedoms is never going to stop, we already KNOW that, and so our personal education must never either.

I am also a bi-weekly columnist which I take great pride in,for the Turtle Island News, North America's #1 Native Weekly Newspaper. Check out our website at www.theturtleislandnews.com
