About Me

Dr. Dhrubodhi Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor at School of Social Work, at Southern Illinois University. He has recently completed his Ph.D. from University of South Carolina. Dr. Mukherjee previously worked as a consultant with the World Bank in their Urban Renewal Program in India. He served as a consultant to the British Council, India and helped setting up their social development initiatives. Dr. Mukherjee also participated in various Information Communication Technology (ICT) driven development programs for communities in India. Born in Kharagpur, West Bengal, India, Dhrubodhi studied at Jadavpur University, Calcutta, and then at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Bombay, India. He is an Indian citizen. Dhrubodhi also held adjunct teaching position at University of South Carolina. His parents live in Kharagpur, India while his only sister lives in Kolkata, India.
