 About Me |
My name is Katie. I am fifteen years old. I have grown up all around the world, but have been involved with child services and social services since I was in grade six. I have lived on the streets for most of my teenage years, and have recently been moved to a safe house in Edmonton.
I dropped out of school in Grade 10, after spending most of my Grade 9 year in Drug Treatment facilities with in Alberta.
I am currently finishing another round of treatment this year in Edmonton and am doing fantastic.
I have two brothers, my mom and dad. I barley talk to both my parents but try and keep in close contact with my brothers.
I have lived an amazing life, and through most of the stress, anxiety and tough times, I would never ask for anything else.
My life is music based, I would be no where with out music, and hope to become a Photo Journalist in the future.
I am very much interested in the American Goverment, after living in America for nearly four years. I believe that the goverment in the U.S.A is very influencing on the rest of the world, if we can begin to perfect that Goverment then we can perfect the rest of the world.
I am beginning to get more involved in the issues of Global Warming. Also interested in the current Genocide in Darfur.
I have had an interesting life so far and hope to further it as long as I can.
I enjoy helping other people, and benefiting my self and my future in the process. (As horrible as that may sound at first.)
Anyways, that is me. For the most part.
