About Me

I am a trained teacher of Business and Computer Science and currently the Registrar & MIS Manager at Brown's Town Community College. I am also a freelance Accountant. I hold a Teacher's Diploma from the Joint Board of Teacher Education, UWI and a Bachaelor of Education Degree from the University of Technology, Jamaica.

I am a firm believer that education is the key corner stone in the process of building a nation and also that it takes a nation to build a nation. I have for the last four years been a volunteer with NGOs working in the field of HIV/AIDS and currently serves as a Peer Educator (PE) with Jamaica AIDS Support, a PE Trainer with the Jamaica Red Cross and a member of the Jamiacan Network of Seropositives' Board of Directors.

I have been since 2003 a youth partner with the UNFPA, with my primary focus being the GYP Initiative and has since this year been coopted to the Country Advisory Team for LACCASO's five year project in Jamaica.

I enjoy travelling, walking, hiking, road trips, talking, working with computers and liming with friends.
