 About Me |
Having come from a Multimedia Design background, Jonathan Reyes is a Program Coordinator for Child and Youth Friendly Calgary and the West Coast Online Community Connector for TakingITGlobal, Jonathan coordinates youth volunteers as well as manage, design and develop websites and marketing materials, leads youth online social media networks, and has a lot of fun talking about himself a little too much.
A husband now and soon a father, Jonathan is also a passionate writer and reader of literature from many genres, as well as quite fond of art and music from a variety of artists. Having such a broad range of interests and in work as well as personal experiences he has learned very important lessons of self development and community building.
Though raised most his life in Canada, Jonathan Reyes emigrated from the Philippines with his family. Able to communicate in Tagalog, the Philippine national language, he continues to learn the strength of words and language in helping define community and understanding history of differing societies with an overall similar hope of greatness in their future.
Having a strong understanding and belief in the importance of effective communication, Jonathan Reyes strives to communicate well and take action on the important and deliberate objectives of a project to strengthen and reach the goals for the program to succeed.
