 About Me |
I am a 24 year old International law student at the University of Suriname. I am also a Youth Officer for the Caricom Youth Ambassadors for Suriname. I had the privilege in october 2005 to take the chair of Suriname's largest youth network: "Youth Impact Network Suriname"
We are a network of Youth Organizations, Student bodies, sport clubs, CBO's and much more. Our network now consists of over 50 organizations. We work closely with the National Youth Parliament of Suriname and the Caricom Youth Ambassador's. We try to establish a region wide network that will cover the whole Caribbean region and even establish international relations in Europe, Asia or Africa. We focus on the following issue's: Youth development and participation, HIV/AIDS, regional youth integration, education, social (youth) issue's and children's rights.
