 About Me |
Rogério Patrício Chagas do Nascimento was born in Lagarto City, Sergipe State, Brazil. He studied software engineering at the Universidade Federal de Sergipe in Aracaju (Brazil) for his undergraduate degree. He completed his Master Science degree within the Centro de Informática at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in Recife (Brazil) investigating about Distributed Systems applied to Distance Learning, Distributed Video Service and Media' Streams in Middleware. His professional experience was with the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de Sergipe (Court of Sergipe State) working as system analyst trainee and computer programmer. He had over 4 years of teaching experience in the CEFET/SE - Centro Federal de Ensino Tecnológico de Sergipe (Technological Federal Center of Sergipe) within the UNED of Lagarto city, where he was the Chair of Industrial Informatics Department. He finished his PhD at the Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal) in 2004, where worked with XML Family and Workflow Systems in the construction of an original Ubiquitous Web Framework. His previous collaboration was in the Instituto de Robótica at Universitat de València (Spain) as Invited Researcher. Now, he is Assistant Professor at Universidade do Algarve (Portugal) since July of 2005.
