About Me

Originally from California (USA), I currently live in Sweden where I am studying in a Masters programme in international development, public management, and sustainable natural resources management.

I am particularly interested in environmental justice; water policy, management, and access; pastoralism; Horn of Africa; Western United States; identity politics; religious movements; critical race theory; and post-colonial theory.

In addition to my Masters research, I enjoy examining post-colonial identity in the European diaspora, especially in regards to our (Europeans') role in international development today.

I am passionate about singing, new cultural experiences, my spirituality, and spending time outdoors.
