I have completed my Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Geography and Environmental Studies at Midlands State University, Gweru, Zimbabwe. I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Water Supply and Sanitation. Currently studying M.Sc. Integrated Water Resources Management at the University of Zimbabwe. Iam the Country Youth Director, Representing The Young Water Action Team (YWAT),based in the Netherlands. Have attended the 4th WATERNET/WARFSA Annual Symposium and made a paper presentation (14-18 October 2003). Has also attended the Gender Ambassadors' Training Workshop,Pretoria,South Africa(14-18 December,2003). Has also participated in the drafting of the youth's paper at the 12th Session of the Commission on Sustainable Development and attended the 12th CSD in New York from 14 April-30 April 2004 Has been the Environmental Society President (Midlands State University) YWAT Poetry Coordinator Water Resources, Sanitation and Hygiene Fair (WARSH Fair) Youth Coordinator. Also attended the Gendre mainstreaming Training Workshop, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Currently documenting a case study on gender mainstreaming best practices in water supply and sanitation, commissioned by the Office of the Special adviser on Gender Issues and the advancement of Women, United Nations, New York Areas of special Interest 1.Integrated Water Resources Manangement 2.Rural development 3.Youth Empowerment 4.Gender Issues 5.Environmental Pollution and Control 6.Environmental Impact Assessments 7. Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing Countries visited so far: 1.Botswana: Francistown,mahalapye, Gaborone 2.South Africa: Johannseburg, Pretoria, 3.United States of America: NewYork City,and Atlanta 4.
