About Me

My name is Gbenga Uriel Ogunjimi, a social entrepreneur with the life goal of seeing in my lifetime African world-class social entrepreneurs.

I studied History and international studies in Lagos State University, 2004. On the campus of this reputable university I founded a campus-based youth NGO that redefined social service practices in Nigeria. The projects I inspired and coordinated include: Youth Stay Alive, Youth Get Involved, Gender Dignity Conference, mentoring and entrepreneurship programmes.

Afterwards, I served as a communication and marketing consultant with STA Travel Nigeria, building the brand awareness of the number one global student brand- International Student Identity Card (ISIC)

Presently I am the Founder/CEO of Landmark Internship International, a nonprofit that deploys internship and volunteer as a tool for Africa’s sustainable development. Our ongoing programmes include: Work in Nigeria, SME Internship, Teach in Nigeria and Volunteer in Nigeria.

Interests:
Entrepreneurship, Internships, Volunteerism, Cultural Exchanges, Sustainable development, Youth development, Gender issues and Health.

Life goal:
To see African youth attain global competitiveness and African world-class social entrepreneurs.
