Hi I'm Novell aka Zwange, i am a performance artist, designer, enterpreneur, environmentalist, etecetera. I am no important than anyone else, and i spend most of my time doing things i like most. I have not made any loud contributions to my wellbeing except winning a few accolades and awards here and there including the UN-sponsored ARTISTS AGAINST POVERTY AWARENES CAMPAIGN (AAPAC) 98. I am co-director of the Harare-based ethno-design label BlackScissors as well as founding director of the Music For Peace Foundation. I have dread locks but am neither rastafarian, nor vegetarian ! When I'm busy doing nothing I sometimes post contributions to my weekly column, Zwa ArtsFocus , at www.zimbeats.com a site dedicated to fellow countrymen and women here at home and abroad. And when I have free time I can be found at www.opendemocracy.net . I enjoy other people's company and I like to lend my hand to the needy, and give my heart to worthwhile human enterprises as they arise.
