Latif is an international youth activist with at least 7years of NGO and youth development experience gained through professional and volunteer work with key international organizations including Prometra International, TakingITGlobal, the Millennium Campaign, GCAP Youth, YES Senegal, and the Synapse Center. As Regional Youth Editor for the Millennium Campaign and TIG, Latif has facilitated the growth of the MDG west Africa Youth Caucus, an exceptional network of 250 west african youth leaders working to help their communities achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
Latif is a trained facilitator in organizational management, conflict resolution issues and a frequent intern of the Concil of Europe specialised center in Strasbourg.
Latif is currently editing a publication on youth and the MDGs an is also completing a Doctorate Dissertation on the celebrated California-born social writer John Steinbeck.
He is currentlty the Director of SIFE in Senegal and also serves on the Advisory Board of CLC West Africa
