About Me

Md. Shamsul Alam Munna, Program Officer, Bangladesh Education and Resource Network (bEARN) is a Bachelor of Science in Footwear Technology from Bangladesh College of Leather Technology, under the University of Dhaka. He involved in youth development as a volunteer at Youth Against Hunger, the youth wing of Hunger Free World Since November 2000.
For above 7 years he had been performing different administrative volunteer duties under various national and international organizations, e.g., Bangladesh Education and Resource Network (bEARN), Youth Bank-Bangladesh, Hunger Free World, Youth Against Hunger, Working for Better Life, Work for a Better Bangladesh, Green Force, etc. He has organized and attended many different types program, such as youth engagement, youth mobilization, youth voice raising, youth gender, youth empowerment & environmental related programs, training programs, cultural programs, tree plantation, warm clothing collections, HIV/AIDS campaigns, national and international conferences and campaign, office management, skill developments, national and local issue based rally, blood donation programs, anti-drug & anti tobacco campaigns and so on.
He is now coordinator of Youth Bank-Bangladesh, Head office in United Kingdom and Advisor & Former President of Youth Against Hunger, Bangladesh, Head office in Japan
His career objective is to work in a youth development sector, in a favorable environment, in a suitable and stable organization with challenge and creativity and with a sound superior. He is interested specially to enrich his career in the field of Youth Development with policy making.
