My name is Nabil Eid from Syria, I am happy to introduce my self and My current work Team leader in Salamieh Telecentre. What about Salamieh Telecentre: Salamieh Telecentre one of many Telecentres which launched date 2004 in rural Syrian by the Ministry of Communications and technological innovations in the Syrian Arab Republic in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program UNDP and so in contributing to the availability of tools biotechnology information and communications for members of rural communities. Salamieh Telecentre is playing a crucial role in empowering rural community Targeted people in Salamieh Telecentre Rural Community - Jobless people - Youth - Children - People with disabilities. - Women illiteracy My Participation: I Participated in the WSIS – Tunis 2005 – by UNDP-ICTDAR ICT4 Blind The subject : "Success stories for blind and special needs education." And I participated in Middle East and North Africa Telecentre stakeholders consultation workshop – Egypt . Now I pleasure to share our friends in TLF, GK3 kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We together with my team of volunteers and specialized staff endeavor and strive to improve and upgrade the living conditions and standards of all handicapped people in Syria. Our strategy is to implement specialized computer programs and models to help those with special needs, such as those affected by Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and other neurological conditions. We have also implemented specialized and targeted courses that aim to promote the knowledge base of individuals with special needs to help them be able to work independently in Syrian society. websit: http://www.caihand.com/
