About Me |
NADIA RAMOS SERRANO is a 25 years old Peruvian girl. She finish an International Diploma in Gobernability and Political Management from Catholic University of Perú (PUCP), George Washington University and CAF, and Diploma Management Socials Projects from Pacific University, she is bachelor degree in Management, mention in Tourism.
Nadia Ramos has been a member a lots youth organizations local, nacional and Internacional, since that moment, she started working with her on issues related to youth leadership, participation, volunteerism, and development in Latin America and the Caribbean, I have found her to be not only a dedicated and committed hard-worker, but a sincere individual who thrives on challenges and welcomes new opportunities to make a positive difference in the world. Nadia’s bright personality and strong communication skills make her a welcomed and highly valuable member of any team.
Additionally, Nadia does not cease in the work she does to improve the lives and livelihoods of youth throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region. The lengths to which Nadia goes to disseminate information on events and opportunities to the various networks of which she is a member continues to impress me. Nadia’s dedication to youth development, and the extraordinary work she has done in both government and nongovernmental organizations in Peru, has led her to be selected to participate in numerous programs over the years. To provide you with a few examples out of many, Nadia was selected to participate in a youth leadership program of the IDB’s Social Development Institute in 2004 and an exchange program the IDB’s Japan Program sponsored in 2005. Both programs are highly competitive. The exchange program selected a few of the top youth leaders in Latin America to work at an NGO in Asia on an issue of import to the youth. Nadia’s experience and interest in working with disabled youth led her to work for an NGO in Cambodia that focuses on that area. Nadia hopes to open her own NGO one day that would support disabled youth, and I have no doubt she will do so.
Nadia is a truly exceptional individual who passionately believes in the power of youth to be change agents around the world. She herself is a change agent who will impact our society significantly over the next 20 years.
Nadia has held many decision-making positions and has an outstanding track record as a youth leader at the national and international levels. She consistently offers her time and skills to many organizations, which know they can rely on her lead an initiative, conduct extensive research, and create partnerships.
