ABOUT YOUTH VISION. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Young people ages 15 to 30 are about 1.2 billion of the world’s human capital. Around the world, some of them are already making contributions to the millennium development goal (MDGs), and their work should be further strengthened. These young minds also have been threatened by the insurgence of extreme poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, lack of information, HIV/AIDS and STDs which has rendered them redundant and irrelevant in their society and the world at large. A common adage states that young people are the leaders of tomorrow. Most youth always feel this adage is not meant for them and it might not come because they don’t see themselves becoming one in years to come. But we take exemption that youth are the leaders of today and also the future that is why they need to be informed, trained, empowered, for them to take charge to become future changers.
