 About Me |
What we are today is the sum result of the education we have received so far. Education comes in many forms - books, people, experiences... it comes as life itself, and is obtained only when we look to learn from it. With this belief, and with pure bliss in 'doing' science, I would like many more youngsters to experience what I so feel.
I have completed my graduation in Electronics and telecommunications Engg. Am currently working as a co-editor of a bimonthly magazine for high-school teachers and students. Also working in R&D projects related to nanotechnology.
Recently, I have formally joined a pioneering NGO in the field of rural technologies and environment and livelihood sustainability, to do my bit in spreading a word about their work. Appropriate Rural Technology Institute (ARTI), in Pune (Maharashtra, India) has done truly inspiring work in creating novel rural technologies and sustainable employment opportunities for rural folk.They have received international recognition for their work through Ashden Award for Sustainable energy. I am currently learning a lot from my experience in this organization as I help them build their website: www.arti-india.org
