An annual competition in search for outstanding campus journalist in NCR. A battery contest in writing editorial, news, feature, sports, and copy reading and headlining. Won 5th place in Editorial Writing Category.

Dec 2002 26th NCR SECONDARY SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE.
An annual contest to choose participants for National Press Conference. Won 4th place in copy reading and headlining category and became a representative of NCR to NSPC. Won 4th place in copy reading and headlining.

Apr 2005 SUMMER IMMERSION PROGRAM.
Sponsored by Center for Social Concern and Action (COSCA) held on April 18 – 20 at De La Salle University’s Marine Station, Lian, Batangas. Participated in the activities including mangrove seedlings gathering, mangrove plotting, focus group discussion among fisher folks, and medical and dental mission.

An annual weeklong Press Conference attended by delegates from all 17 regions of the Philippines. Held Feb. 24 – 28, 2003 in Lapu-lapu City, Maragondon & Mandaue City, Cebu.

Nov 2001 25th NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION SECONDARY PRESS CONFERENCE.
Held on Nov. 7, 14, & 16 in Quezon City Science High School. Attended the events including the talk of Karen Davila regarding broadcasting and journalism. Was one of the chosen Manila students to participate in this event.
