Rayonne joined the American University of Peace Studies in August, 2004 at the level of Senior Instructor and was quickly appointed an executive on the Board of Directors. He also serves as Program Director of the GMKM HIV/AIDS Research Department of the University.
Rayonne has demonstrated significant expertise in the area of research and training with the development of practical conflict resolution , leadership studies and strategic project management programs and the design and establishment of the HIV/AIDS Research Department where under his leadership a comprehensive program that is research based on strategies and policies are researched.
He is presently co-ordinating the design and implemtation of the prevention and support programs of the University with specific emphasis on youth and development.
Rayonne earned his BA in Peace Studies from the American University of Peace Studies in 2004.
Prior to joining American University he was active in youth programming at GuyberNet - a sustainable development training centre and then moved on to an Executive member appointment at the United Nations Associations of Guyana, chairing the committee on Youth and Education. He served this committee for 2 years.
Rayonne was born in Kitty, north within the Capital city Georgetown of the republic of Guyana. He is also engaged in planning and the representation of youth led activities in Guyana, serving presently as President of Youth Peace Council Volunteer Corps and giving technical assistance to various groups on HIV/AIDS related project planning.
Mr. Pile recently participated in the Caribbean Youth Dialogue towards developing the regional response on HIV/AIDS within the Caribbean followed by the IAS 2006 Conference in Toronto, Canada.
Rayonne was recently accepted to serve as the Regional Focal Point of the Caribbean region at GYCA – Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS where he intends to interpret, develop and expand on the agenda of GYCA both in the region and at the international level representing the youth constituencies and general public.
He was recently appointed to serve on the IAS/IAC Scientific Program Committee Track E.
Rayonne is an ambitious, steadfast and responsible young man, working towards the development of humanity and committed to excellence and justice.
