Ryan is an active member of the World University Service of Canada, with whom he recently completed a two month HIV/AIDS related Seminar in Botswana. His past participation also includes the Africa AIDS Angels and Working to Empower, and in 2006 he is presenting at the World AIDS Conference in Toronto.
