About Me |
Have you ever tried to eat snow? It's a very special feeling and as a kid I really loved it (I still do). But my aunt wouldn't let me eat the snow in the city park, she said it was poisonous. That's how I became an environmentalist. I understood that something was really wrong and wanted to do whatever I can to change it.
In August 2007 I was elected to the UNEP Tunza Youth Advisory Council for two years. I'm also the vice chair and project officer of Youth and Environment Europe (YEE), a federation of 60 youth environmental organizations in 30 countries in Europe. In Sweden I'm active in the NGO Fältbiologerna (Nature and Youth Sweden) in the international committee and on local level.
In June 2006 I graduated from the education programme Globalverkstan – International Project Management for Social Movements and NGOs. Now I'm studying environmental planning at university.
The change starts with our daily actions!
