Hello,
Well ,to tell you who I am would indicate that I've got that figured out...which while I'm working on it, is still a question I pose myself on a regular basis....
I can tell you a few thing, though. I am a country girl at heart but moved to Toronto to attend York University. I graduated in 2005 with a Honours B.A. in Film and Video production. I love film as an art form and mode of self expression and as important tool to reach people.
I will always be linked to film in some capacity but have recently found a draw to working in human rights and development.
I think that we have let each other down as members of the one human family to inhabit this rock and I am determined to do what I can to help ease some of the pain and disappointment. I think that we need to take more responsibility in the livelihoods of all people and stop defining value by the size of ones wallet, appearance or status.
I believe in harmony with the planet, all its inhabitants and with the self. I believe in reducing one's footprint and the ripple effect of one's actions.
I love good friends and am thankful for the ones I have and the ones I have yet to meet. I like butterflies and frogs because they remind me to not be afraid to change and mangos, avocados and sweet potato fries because the world wouldn't be the same without them. Oooh...Oooh...pickles..pickled beets, cucumbers, onions, califlower....oh heck I'd drink balsamic vinegar from the bottle if you'd all stop looking at me funn!
I think Belgium makes the world's finest chocolate and beer and I'm more than willing to over indulge or argue the point.
I love travel and reading and laughing and rain.
Spring is my favourite time of year...blue my favourite colour... Sunday is my favourite day.... 7 1/2 is my shoe size and brown are me eyes.
Other than that.... I'm not sure what I am..... but I do know that who I will be is who I am now...so there's not to much stress about answering that question!
