 About Me |
I am 35 years old and live in Winnipeg, MB. I am of METIS/CREE decent and am proud of my heritage and culture. I am studying at the U of W and will continue to study at U of M later to receive my Law degree. I have founded and created "SAIFC" which stands for Survivors of Abuse in Foster Care and I will be creating another this year. I would like to see Peace, Healing and Reconciliation in our communities. We need to live in Peace and Harmony. I do Advocacy work for Foster Children and Parents who have lost their children to the Child Welfare System. We need to create awareness of what is really happening to our children and why they are being EXPLOITED. I love what I do and love the feeling that I know I am helping those that are having a hard time to help themselves b/c of the Systems that overpower them and created their Deviant Behaviors that they are being punished with. We need a Movement in Non Violent Action to really see the outcomes of the shift in the PARADIGM. We need to get back to our Teachings and Culture and connect back to the CIRCLE OF LIFE.
