Presently working for the Application Services unit of IBM India as a Software Engineer, Shoubhik is known as a well-read guy, with whom one would like to associate with.
While in his first project at IBM, he has learned a lot about Enterprise Application Integration, a buzzword for everything that IBM's WebSphere brand of tools does, along with other middleware software in the market.
Truth is, his profession is Information Technology, and his passion is truth...Believes he has come here for a bigger purpose, and is still looking for that one principle, for which he would be willing to give up his life.
Loves to inspire others, motivate them to go beyond what they have been led to believe is their "horizon". He is always on the lookout for different ways to help improve others' lives.
Coming back to TIG after a long time, he hopes to use this platform to contribute with ideas and action, as he used to..

I am a 4th year student of Electronics & Communication Eng.
I shall be joining the Software Delivery Services Dept of IBM India in July 2005 and, hence, want to contribute as much as possible in my capacity as an Engineering Student. My friends appreciate my ability to communicate effectively and motivate in different situations. Till date, I have volunteered for the ISA(Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society) of the US of A as a leader of the Student Section at our Institute. I am an active member of the ACM(Association for Computing Machinery) and the IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) as well. I would like to add that I have a genuine desire to help others and am confident that TIG provides the right platform to act upon ideas.
