 About Me |
I’ Fosia Abdullahi Eidle, currently holds the GYCA National Focal Point for Somalia . In respect of my educational background, I am Qualified General Nurse (GNA), graduated and received 3 years Diploma from Edna Aden Maternity and Teaching Hospital, Somaliland. Since 2001, I was inspired and motivated by the need of the Somali people for social service administrators and public health care consultants. Thus, I put my self the line of duty for this cause and assumed the huge responsibility that associated with this position by involving and working as a “Professional Consultant” for non- governmental organizations (NGOs) that work with Youth and Women’s programs.
In this respect, of course, and with my personal conviction and the belief that cooperation and togetherness could change the health care system that touches the live of the ordinary citizens in general and in particularly the vulnerable community in every society, the then women and Youth.
Consequently, I have initiated and promoted working with together with five local NGOs. Now, this consortium involves and works with the people living with HIV, Youth and Women’s development programs. We then together are building a healthy nation, knowing nation and productive Youth through our intensive home care, interactive programs, consultants and social services.
We are now expecting to extent our services and programs throughout the Somaliland as the sources and funds permit. Ultimately, our momentum calls while executing this task “health care for every one”.
