 About Me |
I am a student in Sri Lanka with strong interests in Information Technology.
(In fact, I am the current web master for www.slearn.org / www.asiantruth.com with have experience in Perl/Cgi bin JAVA, ASP, PHP and Visual Basics.)
I am presently working as the secretary for the International Education and Resources Network - Sri Lanka www.iearn.org / www.slearn.org
I am also a UN-AIDS voluntary worker as well as a participant for UNICEF Voice Of Youth Program from Sri Lanka and also the country representative for Human Horizon NET.
Further more, I am currently coordinating WSIS Youth activities in Sri Lanka and at the moment working with WSIS South Asian youth leaders in making a structure for South Asian WSIS youth which can motivate and boost up activities of youth in Sri lanka and around the South Asia.
Writing is one of my hobbies and I free-lance for www.lankamuslims.com www.academic.org and www.asiantribune.com
I am also facilitating www.asiantruth.com online journal.
Apart from that, I am very much interested in travelling, meeting new people and making links and also improving my language skills in Tamil and French.
Photography was an interest I had from my childhood and I am working to establish my own gallery in TIG.
And as like any South Asian youth, I am also fond of Cricket, Football and Rugby. (Reminds of good ol' school days of Royal College)
When it comes to Music, I like both slow and pop music. My favorite groups is Westlife and my favorite artist, ofcourse is the best ever "ELIVS PRESLY" ( Um, not that i am into old stuff but an admirer of the yester- year!)
Finally,I just love to play the piano and the guitar whenever I can :)
