About Me

The Youth-Network For Rural Development(YONERD)is a
Community-based Integrated Non-profit Youth
Organization located in the Kpando District of the
Volta Region along the Volta Lake in the republic of
Ghana-West Africa.

YONERD is an offshoot of the Association of Rural
Youth Friends of Development (ARYFODEV) established to
be directly responsible for the identification of
issues that specifically affect the youth in our rural
and deprived communities and to get them involved in
projects and ventures that would alleviate poverty and
bring economic development in the Kpando District and
beyond. This we are able to do through Agricultural
production (Self-help Community Income Generation
Projects) and the provision of Formal Education.

Our objective is to identify our own potentials as
youth, network them for our own good and that of other
youths and with a concerted effort, try to militate
against factors that work against youth/grass root
initiated programmes and undertake projects that would
reduce the poverty level of our rural folks.
